We’re delighted to reveal that the first ever Lingerie Fashion Week has announced its return for a second season following a successful launch for the autumn/winter 2013 season.
Held in New York, LingerieFW aims to offer intimate apparel brands an influential, international platform to showcase their talent and innovation to the industry, press and consumers. Its goal is to give this sector of the fashion industry the same visibility and status as womenswear – an aim we wholeheartedly support here at Fashion Bust.
The event will return for the spring/summer 2014 show season, taking place on 1-3 August 2013 at The Metropolitan Pavilion in New York, and established and emerging intimate apparel brands across lingerie, loungewear, sleepwear, shapewear, hosiery and accessories, as well as men’s underwear, are invited to showcase their new collections via runway shows or presentations.
‘We are thrilled to announce the return of LingerieFW for SS14!’ said founder and director Lauren Rich. ‘We are looking forward to even more shows as well as exciting special events to elevate the visibility of all participating brands and put intimate apparel on a scope like never before. Tighten your corsets – season two of Lingerie Fashion Week has arrived.’
Brands interested in taking part should contact email@example.com for details. For general enquiries contact firstname.lastname@example.org or visit www.lingeriefw.com.
