Alice Temperley launches lingerie for John Lewis

Alice Temperley’s best-selling Somerset fashion line for John Lewis will now include lingerie and nightwear, and we couldn’t be more excited!

The British designer launched her exclusive fashion collection with the department store last summer, which includes everything from boots and handbags to adorable dresses and funky tops – everything except lingerie, until now.

Launching in stores on 1 October, the super stylish lingerie and nightwear line consists of 23 pieces ranging from delicate lingerie sets and chemises to pyjamas, a jumpsuit and kimonos. There’s a strong monochromatic theme and gorgeous oriental-inspired prints and cuts.

The designer told Vogue that lingerie was the natural next step for the Somerset collection and her ‘next love’ after clothing. She picked out the Tuxedo Jumpsuit as a favourite style, and we couldn’t agree more.

Expect to pay around £55 for a lingerie set and up to £150 for the Tuxedo Pyjamas. Better be prepared if you want to buy some of this gorgeous collection though. When the clothing line launched in stores it was the fast-selling brand the department store has ever had, so expect the lingerie to move fast.
