Specialist mastectomy lingerie and swimwear retailer Nicola Jane has just released its summer 2014 swimwear collection, offering attractive, carefully designed styles for women who have had surgery for breast cancer.
The pretty collection includes swimsuits, bikinis, tankinis and beachwear with fitted pockets to hold prostheses. The styles are cut higher at the front and under the arms to hide any scarring and hold the breast form securely in place.
There are three key trends in the collection – bold prints in shades of violet, black and blue; nautical classics in navy and white; and floral bloom in deep pinks and purples.
Our favourites include the pretty Peony bandeau bikini, which comes with a gorgeous matching sarong, and the Portofino ruched swimsuit with its handy tummy control panels.
Prices start from just £34.99 excluding VAT – remember, if you’re buying mastectomy swimwear or lingerie for yourself you may be entitled to a VAT exemption – in sizes from 32 up to a 44 in some styles. Nicola Jane also stocks a range of swim prostheses for wear with your swimwear.
Here’s a selection of pieces from the collection.
