Caught in a trap: swimwear in black and white

Caught in a Trap by James Lightbown

Black and white is the timeless fashion colour combo, offering classic elegance and, this season, a totally on-trend look. Monochrome colour blocking, prints and patterns are big news on the high street for summer 2014, and nowhere is this more in evidence than swimwear.

In our latest photo shoot, Caught in a Trap, we’ve picked our favourite seasonal swimwear pieces in black and white, white and black, and brought them all together for you. From Gottex to Seafolly and Sumarie, and Asos to River Island, we’ve mixed designer with high street to showcase some of this season’s most dramatic shapes. If you want to make a monochrome statement on the beach this summer, there’s plenty of inspiration for you here.

Our thanks to James Lightbown and his team for making this shoot as amazing as it is. Full credits below the gallery.
