Freya Lingerie is taking its famous Bra Booth to a jam-packed celebrity pool party on Wednesday 25 June in London organised by Fake Bake to promote its Save Your Skin campaign.
The lingerie and swimwear brand, which has teamed up with Fake Bake to support its sun awareness campaign and encourage sun lovers to fake it rather than opt for risky sunbeds, will also be offering swimwear style advice at the event alongside bra fittings.
Despite increasing awareness of the dangers of over-exposure to the sun, sun safety is an ongoing concern as in reality it’s something that many of us simply forget about or choose to ignore in the quest for the perfect tan. Because, let’s face it, we all think we look better with a bit of a tan, especially on the beach. How many times have you seen half-naked bodies slowly turning from white to pink to red during a rare hot day in the UK let alone on the beach in warmer climes?
That’s why self-tan brand Fake Bake launched its Save Your Skin campaign and why Freya is supporting it. As the brand’s head of marketing Ann Marie Manley explains: ‘Here at Freya, we are all for a streak free tan… We urge women to go grab their tanning mitt or call upon a spray tan professional for a golden glow which radiates confidence.’

In the meantime, Freya has picked out the swimwear pieces from its 2014 high summer that look best with a beautiful golden glow, faked of course!
