The best free fashion shopping apps

Our shopping habits have changed a lot in just a few years – from bricks and mortar to online shopping, and now mobile shopping. The mobile app is taking over and we love it. If done well, a retailer’s mobile app can make shopping from your mobile (and let’s face it, we’ve all done it, or at least browsed from our phones) a whole lot easier. From shopping the Asos sale to searching Net-a-Porter for those designer lingerie pieces we’ve been coveting, mobile shopping apps have transformed our shopping experience, and seriously dented our bank balances!

After plenty of weekend lie-ins trying to find the best shopping apps (it’s a tough life!) we’ve picked out the best ones for finding the lingerie, loungewear and swimwear without leaving the comfort of your home, or even your bed. And if you’d rather shop from lots of retailers at once, don’t forget that social shopping site Styloko has an app that allows you to create your own boutique with your favourite brands and styles and shop from it.

ASOS

Asos shopping app

The Asos app is pretty sophisticated and runs really well, and it’s safe to say this profitable business continues to invest in developing its application. Refine your search between dress sizes, back and cup size (in a pretty impressive range), as well as colour, brand, style and current price. All that choice, without any walking.

Available on: iPhone, iPad, Android

Size ranges sold: 28-44 A-J

Amazon

Amazon shopping app

Amazon is the online shop that has everything, and while the lingerie range is still on the modest size, if you’re looking for a specific brand and staple pieces, this app is easy to use and based on search rather than categorisation. You can search by category, but they’re pretty wide categories so you’re better off searching by brand name as each product is well tagged and easy to find.

Available on: iPhone, iPad, Android

Size ranges sold: All sizes, dependent on brand

Net-a-Porter

Net a Porter shopping app

You can’t categorise by bra sizes, only dress sizes here, but you come here for the luxury brands sold. The app is simple to use and also well categorised, and for deliveries that come by courier and beautifully wrapped, you can’t feel more luxury than Net-A-Porter.

Available on: iPhone, iPad, Android

Size ranges sold: A-G cups

Topshop

Topshop shopping app

Although Topshop does sell bras in cup sizes, it doesn’t allow you to refine your search by cup size, so it’s a little more difficult to find a bra in your specific size, but that doesn’t spoil the experience of the app too much. Especially as what you will most likely be using Topshop for is fashion-forward and on-trend pieces.

Topshop is best for small busts but it is ideal for fashion bras and crop tops in on-trend patterns and colours. The app is well categorised and eay to understand and use.

Available on: iPhone, iPad, Android

Size ranges sold: A-DD cup sizes.

Debenhams

Shopping-app-debenhams

If you’re not sure of the brand or style of bra you want, come here to categorise by size and see a wide selection of product from a broad range of brands, including Debenhams own brand, and high street prices – and frequent sales! This app is also well categorised, and has a good sharing feature so you can email selections to yourself (or suggestions to your partner for that birthday coming up), as well as adding them to your Pinterest boards for future reference.

Available on: iPhone, iPad, Android

Size ranges sold: 30-46 A-HH
