There’s no better time than a sale to update your lingerie drawer with something pretty and frivolous as well as updating your basics. There are some great bargains to be had right now on the high street and online, and here are just a few that caught our eye.
Caroline Randell is a luxury independent lingerie and swimwear retailer, and the current sale has some beautiful pieces from not just this season but past seasons as well – so that piece you thought you’d missed your chance to own could be yours after all. It was love at first sight for us and this Lise Charmel Royal Saphir padded plunge bra (£66 reduced from £95, limited sizes), and if you are a size small you can pick one the last of the elusive Aubade Idylle Parisienne waist cinchers, also for £66 reduced from £95.
Wonderbra has a great sale on its website at the moment, and you can go to town on your functional essentials. You can pick up the Ultimate Plunge fashion bra for just £15, while the fab Multiway Plunge is only £10. Our favourite picks have to be the Limited Edition One & Only Bra, currently £15 reduced from £45, and this pretty Gel Bra Pixel Lace in blue, just £19.50 reduced from £26.50.
You absolutely must visit the Figleaves sale if you are looking to grab a cheeky deal on lingerie or swimwear this summer. With up to 50% off a huge product range, the retailer has something to suit every bargain hunter, but styles are selling out fast. We were very tempted by the Panache Ariza balconette in summery lilac/pink (£20.30 reduced from £29) and the Chantelle Icone balconette in python (£27 reduced from £54), as well as this vibrant Aubade Love Circus half cup bra, a fab find at just £39, reduced from £78)
House of Fraser
Another not-to-be-missed sale, House of Fraser is offering up to 50% off selected lingerie lines and you can pick up individual pieces for as little as a few pounds. If you hurry you might catch one of the last few sizes in Lepel’s pretty Delilah padded balcony bra, reduced from £25 to £12.50, and in a similar summery vein, we love the simple, fresh style of this Elegance Tonal Lace Bra from Untold in white and apricot, now just £23.40 (was £39).
The Net-a-Porter sale is the place for designer bargains, although the products are often still pricey enough to require frequent repetition of the original sale price to convince yourself it actually was a bargain. You can get excited over some exquisite pieces by Kiki de Montparnasse – this little thong is a mere £133! – and then opt for something a little realistic for your budget. Eberjey’s Leonora leopard print chemise is now only £56, reduced from £80, while this Stella McCartney Lara Stripping lace bodysuit is down from £70 to £49.
