Freya Lingerie has been nominated as one of the CoolBrands of 2013/14, a list of brands in different categories from retail to live events that’s voted on each year by an ultra-cool expert panel and the great British public.
If selected, Freya will join the likes of Apple, Aston Martin, Spotify and Liberty as one of the nation’s coolest brands and become yet another lingerie brand – alongside Lascivious and Wonderbra – to make the list.
Brands are not able to put themselves forward for nomination as a Coolbrand and are shortlisted by the Centre for Brand Analysis from various sources. These brands will then be voted on by the expertly cool panel, which includes style icons such as Daisy Lowe, Julien Macdonald and Sadie Frost, and thousands of consumers. Criteria include style, innovation, originality, authenticity, desirability and uniqueness.
The results of the judging will be revealed in September, and this year’s winners will be published in a Coolbrands book which will be available in Waterstones.
As far as we’re concerned, Freya has the cool factor – just check out their latest campaign 365 Days of Deco – and we would love to see one of our favourite lingerie brands make the list. Which brands would make your cool list for 2013?
