As lingerie lovers we’re well aware of the importance of Lycra in our lives. The stretch fibre has transformed the world of underwear and legwear in many wonderful ways, and now it looks like it is about to do the same to beauty products. Yep, that’s right, Lycra make up is coming your way.
The stretch fibre brand has teamed up with Rimmel London to create new lines of mascara and nail polish with weightless Lycra technology for big, bold style this summer.
The new Scandaleyes Lycra Flex mascara promises to create lush lashes that never feel brittle or stiff no matter how many coats you apply – which sounds ideal for when you want to give you lashes a touch up before you head out to after work drinks.
Meanwhile, the new Salon Pro with Lycra nail polish has been formulated to offer all the benefits of a five-step pro manicure – just one applicable is the equivalent of adding a base coat, top coat and gel colour. What’s more, the claim is that this super hardwearing colour will last up to 10 days.
The nail polish range comes in a huge 49 fashion shades, including 12 new colours created by supermodel Kate Moss. It’s available now from retailers such as Boots.
