Swimwear brand Secret Beach has designed a special bikini to support gynaecological cancer research charity The Eve Appeal, giving us yet another way to support a good cause while treating ourselves!
The brand launched the Eve bikini campaign on 1 November 2013, and for every Eve bikini sold between now and the 1 November 2014, Secret Beach will donate £1.50 to The Eve Appeal.
To kick start the campaign, Secret Beach is auctioning an Eve bikini on its Facebook page this weekend (2/3 November) and all profits will go to the Eve Appeal.
The pretty floral bikini comes in four different styles, including underwired, bandeau and triangle, and costs £65. The money raised from the sales will help fund better detection methods and improved treatment for the five gynaecological cancers – cervical, ovarian, vaginal, vulval and womb cancer.
The Eve Appeal was founded in 2005 to raise money to support the research programme at the Department of Women’s Cancer at University College London, and to increase awareness of the different types of gynaecological cancer. The money raised by the charity has already helped towards improving survival rates but as always more needs to be done.
So, if you need a new bikini, why not take a look at Eve? You could help to save someone’s life.
