New fun shapewear range is designed to be seen

New shapewear line Figgahugga launchesShapewear is no longer the embarrassing underwear it once was, but one British brand is determined to complete its transformation from underwear solution into fashion staple.

Figgahugga is a new range of bright shaping slips aimed at young women that look just like figure-hugging dresses, albeit skimpy ones, that are very much designed to be seen, not hidden away.

The company is calling its range ‘slimwear’ to differentiate it from traditional shapewear garments, but this is still very much a shapewear product, promising firm support that smooths out lumps and bumps, holds in wobbly bits and hides VPL and bra strap lines.

Figgahugga launched in September and has already been featured on ITV’s This Morning. The dresses cost £49.99 each and come in sizes XS-L. There are five colours in the range – neon green, purple, neon pink, electric blue and neon yellow, and a new red is launching in December for Christmas.
