Lingerie seems to be the trendy thing for celebs to put their name to these days. From Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s high profile collection for M&S to Kelly Brook’s hugely popular line for New Look, celebrities are rolling up their sleeves and trying their hand at design (well, maybe). Here are some of the best celeb lingerie collaborations of 2013 – great Christmas present ideas and all very affordable.
Helena Christensen for Triumph
Helena’s involvement with Triumph began two years ago when she became the face of the brand’s new luxury line Triumph Essence. Since then she has gone on to design her own collection, Helena Christensen for Triumph, and the collaboration is going strong into next year (we’ve already had a peek at the gorgeous spring/summer 2014 range).
We love: the AW13 collection is light and floaty and very, very feminine. Try the Elodie range, from £40 from Triumph.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for M&S
It’s hard to believe that the Rosie for Autograph collection for M&S is still only 18 months old, so successful has it been. The soft vintage styling has won the collection a legion of fan as has the affordable prices – silk bras for just £25 on the high street are a steal.
We love: the gorgeous rich tones of the Christmas collection. Try this silk suspender cami in A-DD, £49.50 or this indulgent silk rose print dressing gown, £69.
Myleene Klass for Littlewoods
Myleene Klass’s collaboration with Littlewoods has seen the star launch lingerie, swimwear, shapewear and clothing and, most recently, nightwear. It’s fun, colourful and very well priced and Myleene looks fabulous modelling the pieces!
We love: the designs are decadent but fun and very wearable. Try this gorgeous satin and lace cami and short set, £23 reduced from £34, or this deep pink satin and lace kimono, currently £31 reduced from £45, Littlewoods.
Dita von Teese
The burlesque superstar and vintage lover’s lingerie collection launched into the UK market for Autumn/Winter 2012 and has been selling like hot cakes ever since through Asos and Debenhams. Super stylish and unashamedly sexy, this is another very affordable collection, but you have to be quick to get your hands on a set.
We love: the luxe feel and sexy detailing. Try the Sheer Witchery collection from £12.50, from Asos.com.
L’Agent by Agent Provocateur
Agent Provocateur’s new diffusion line designed by actress sisters Penelope and Monica Cruz is still in its debut season but has already caused a stir – not least for the controversial promo film. The line aims to offer the essence of Agent Provocateur at a more accessible price, and we think it does just that.
We love: the huge range and designer look at affordable prices. Try the pretty sheer Elsa bra and brief, £73 for the set, or cool fringed Zanita, £80 for the set, both from Net-a-Porter.
Kelly Brook for New Look
Kelly Brook’s long-standing relationship with high street retailer New Look started with swimwear and has expanded into lingerie and clothing. The model recently caused an internet sensation when she posted pictures from her Christmas lingerie shoot for New Look on Instagram, ensuring that the budget-friendly collection will be a sell out.
We love: a quick, easy update for your lingerie drawer with prices starting at just £6.99. Try: this black lace longline bra and brief, £29, or the red and black embroidered balconette bra set, £25.
Gok Wan for Simply Yours
The nation’s favourite style guru has been collaborating with fuller figure lingerie retailer Simply Yours for a couple of years now, and the collection is full of his irreverent charm and practical advice. From bodyshapers to banger boosters, Gok Wan for Simply Yours is your secret helping hand.
