In part three of our Valentine’s lingerie guide we’re focusing on lingerie sets over the £100 mark. Yes, they are expensive, but if your budget stretches this far, you won’t be disappointed by these beauties.
There’s no rule that says Valentine’s lingerie has to be red, or pink, or any colour in fact. However, there are so many gorgeously romantic lingerie collections in shades of red this season that we couldn’t resist featuring a few of them here. Done right, red is beautiful not tacky and it is a much more practical lingerie colour than most people think, working well against most skin tones. Try wearing a red bra under a white top and you’ll see what we mean.
Whether you’re buying lingerie to wear on Valentine’s Day, or hunting for the perfect set for your other half, here are some exquisite and luxurious sets to inspire you.
Gloria by Agent Provocateur
This is an utterly gorgeous line from Agent Provocateur. The barely-there tulle of the base disappears against the skin to show only the red floral embroidery and delicate silk satin straps and satin trim.

Maison de Grande Luxe is a limited edition Valentine’s collection from designer label Lucile London and is just about as decadent as it gets in French leaver’s lace and pure silk.
