Lingerie brand Prima Donna is one of those hidden gems of the underwear world. You don’t hear the name often, but together with its sister brand Marie Jo, Prima Donna has a huge fan base among fuller busted women who shop in some of this country’s fabulous independent lingerie boutiques and department stores. Famed for fit and fashion, the brand offers premium designs that look fabulous.
And now, for the first time, that same quality of design and fit is available in swimwear.
The first styles of Prima Donna’s swimwear collection are already available, with new ones launching in March, and we’re delighted to be able to bring you an early peek at the collection that has been in the works for two years.
Fit was the guiding principle behind the design process – and one of the reasons the collection took so long to develop – so you can expect the same flattering and comfortable fit in the swimwear as the brand’s lingerie.
There are six lines in the range, which include bikinis, tankinis and one-pieces up to an H cup. Everything is designed to be mix and match, with flexibility built in. So, for example, you can adjust the coverage of bikini bottoms and tops depending on your activity or preference, and almost all straps can be worn over the shoulder or as halternecks.
Look out for timelessly elegant cuts and colours, interesting textures and fun, bright prints. There’s also a collection of beachwear to complement the swimwear and give you a complete summer wardrobe.
Prima Donna’s swimwear collection will be stocked in store and online at Rigby and Peller. The Pina Colado bikini in hot pink and violet is already available now, costing £80.95 for the top and £35.95 for the brief. And here’s a taste of what’s to come…
