We’ve fallen in love. We’ve just seen the new spring/summer 2014 collection from Madame SuperTrash and we can’t get it out of our heads.
And, to make matters worse, the brand has launched its first swimwear collection to sit alongside the lingerie, so there are twice as many gorgeous styles to lust after.
It’s the vintage styling of the summer collection that makes the lingerie so irresistible. The inspiration decades are the Forties and Fifties and the retro cuts are complemented beautifully by a colour palette that alternates between bright shades and soft pastels.
This is vintage meets modern, however, with the bras, playsuits and nightwear all showcasing a fashion-forward take on classic styles and made using innovative, contrasting materials and body sculpting techniques.
There are four lines in the lingerie range, including breezy nightwear in pale prints mixed with cut out elements and metal studs, soft pastel florals, bright and sheer bodies and playsuits and romantic lace in colours such as electric blue.
In the swimwear, meanwhile, there are just two lines for now, a monochrome collection in various prints and a gorgeous vintage rose print.
A selection of lingerie styles are available to buy now on Figleaves.com, with the rest coming soon on www.supertrash.com.
