Be honest, how many pieces of swimwear do you own?

Fashion Bust Swimwear SurveyTake our new survey and we’ll enter you into a prize draw to win a £50 voucher for John Lewis.

Swimwear shopping is a tricky thing for many women. Some love it, some hate, few find it easy. Unlike underwear, which is hidden away under your clothes, swimwear is your clothes while you’re on the beach or by the pool, and for some being that exposed can be a daunting prospect.

And, to make matters worse, it’s not necessarily an easy thing to find an item of swimwear that fits and flatters. Many of us need a different size on the top and bottom, and while cup sized swimwear can make all the difference for fuller bust shoppers, a swimsuit that is sized to the bust does not always fit everywhere else.

On the other hand, we now have more choice of brands, retailers, styles and designs than ever before – and this is one of the things we wanted to highlight when we launched this website. And not only are high street retailers stocking more choice, but the plethora of online retailers and independent boutiques mean that we now have access to new swimwear collections throughout the year, even when it’s off season on the high street.

And then there’s the beachwear, which has expanded hugely as a market in the last five years or so. Now, many of us think of nothing of buying the matching sarong or kaftan to go with our new swimwear. Equally, there are many for whom an old pair of denim shorts and a T-shirt is still their beach outfit of choice.

With this survey we want to get a handle on your thoughts and buying habits when it comes to swimwear, from how many items you own to how much you spend, what styles you buy and whether you enjoy the process. So please take a couple of minutes to fill out our survey – and please also share with your friends and family – and don’t forget to leave your email address if you would like to be entered into our prize draw to win a £50 voucher for John Lewis.

The survey will run until midnight on 21 May 2014.
