DMU student’s designs go on sale with Triumph

Sian Whitefoot bridal lingerie for Triumph

A gorgeous new collection of bridal lingerie designed by De Montfort University student Sian Whitefoot has gone on sale with lingerie brand Triumph.

In 2012, Sian won Triumph’s international design competition, the Triumph Inspiration Award, with her delicate and ethereal butterfly-inspired lingerie collection entitled Ecliptic Renewal.

Since then Sian has worked with Triumph’s design team to turn her winning design into a commercial collection to be sold through Triumph stores. The finished collection is a beautiful limited edition bridal range of vanilla lace bra, thong and suspender belt that is available to buy from the brand’s outlets in Stratford and Bluewater.

Sian, who graduated from DMU’s prestigious Contour Fashion course last year, has also collaborated with Triumph on a customised garment that was shown at London Fashion Week, and showcased her graduate collection at Graduate Fashion Week. To see more of her designs visit her website at

If this collection has inspired you and you would like to see more from DMU’s talented students, the university’s 2014 final year students will be sending their collections down the runway at this year’s Graduate Fashion Week on Sunday 1 June at 6.30pm at the Old Truman Brewery on Brick Lane, London.

This is one of our favourite lingerie events of the year, and we highly recommend attending. More information and tickets are available via
