The Commonwealth Games got underway in Glasgow yesterday with a golden day for the home nations, and one team hoping to add to the golden tally at the event is the England Netball team.
The girls face their first opponents Wales at 11.30am today, and they will be playing in their Freya Active sports bras, thanks to the brand’s support of the team over the last few seasons.
There has been a big push in the last few years to get women back into playing netball – an initiative Freya Active has supported – and now more than one million women and girls take part every week. It’s a sport that most definitely requires a sports bra to reduce breast movement and stay comfortable, and the England Netball squad are reportedly big fans of Freya’s new crop top sports bra, now available in pink glow.
The new sports bra fully encapsulates each breast and holds them in place to reduce pain by up to 97%. In testing, 92% of women said that wearing the bra they felt no breast movement during exercise.
The England Netball team are currently ranked No.3 in the world, but they have never won a Commonwealth gold medal, so 2014 could be their year. Cheer them on today at 11.30am.
