Yawn is a great name for a nightwear brand. Just the word makes us want to stretch out and get comfy, and that’s surely what the brand is hoping its pyjamas will make you want to do when they launch next month.
The concept of the brand is centred in relaxation and celebrating those moments that give you a chance to unwind and just enjoy doing something for yourself, like lazy Sunday mornings or an evening on the sofa watching a favourite film.
For a taster of this ethos, have a look at the brand’s teaser video.
The initial collection of sleepwear, which includes pyjamas, nightshirts, jersey tops and bed socks, is based around five exclusive fabric prints created by Yawn, which are cleverly designed to offer a quirky take on classic looks. Port in a Storm, for example, features a seascape with hidden whales, while our favourite, Cat Nap, is a polka design of well-fed snoozing cats. There’s also the obligatory stripe, which has a charming hand-drawn look.
The sleepwear is made from 100% cotton sateen with soft cotton waistbands and four generous pockets. The pyjamas have a flattering A-line cut for comfort and are sold as both sets and separates. Sizes range from XS-L and prices from £25 for a pair of bed socks to £95 for a set of pyjamas.
Yawn’s lovely designs will go on sale mid-September via the brand’s website loveyawn.com and in Fortnum & Masons and Fenwick Bond Street.
